Twitter was down for the last couple of days due to a DDoS attack. Celebrities and athletes depend on Twitter to communicate with fans. L.A. Lakers NBA player Ron Artest did not want to just talk to fans on Twitter, he wanted his followers to call him while he was in China and text message him some funny jokes.
“Who got jokes??? 8323610108 Text me your Ron Ron jokes I’m callin back the funniest ones,” wrote Artest on Twitter. In the video above, Artest is calling up some of his fans and asking them “what’s good?”
I can understand why Artest is very happy-go-lucky by giving his number away. Its been a good year for the Lakers as they walked away with a championship and even received a personal congrats from Shaq.
This past weekend, the Los Angeles Lakers NBA team won the championship against the Orlando Magic. Shaquille O’Neal is a former player for the Lakers and he felt the responsibility to congratulate his former teammates on Twitter. Below is what he had to say to the Lakers:
Kobe Bryant: ”Congratualtions kobe, u deserve it. You played great . Enjoy it my man enjoy it. And I know what yur sayin rt now ‘Shaq how my a** taste’”
Phil Jackson: “Congrats to you to phil jackson. When the general doesn’t panic the troops don’t panic. You are the greatest now.”
Derek Fisher: “Congrats to u to d fish, big shots the other day. Enjoy my man enjoy”
Pau Gasol: “Congrats in spanish pau gasol, muchas gracias pappacito”
DJ Mbenga: “Congrats to you to, mbengaaaaaaaa”
Bill Russell: “Its nice to see the greatest big man ever on stage, smilin havin a good time. I love bill russell”
