Advertising technology company Marin Software Inc (NYSE:MRIN) has acquired display and social network retargeting company Perfect Audience for $22.8 million. Around $5.4 million of that is in cash and the rest is in common stock. Even though Marin Software already has a platform for advertisers to run campaigns across a platform range, its specialty has been in search. Perfect Audience will remain as a separate platform for now and will eventually be integrated into Marin Software. Some of Perfect Audience’s clients include American Apparel, bebe, Eventbrite, New Relic, and Rackspace.
