MyLikes has raised $5.6 million in Series A funding led by Khosla Ventures. Lightspeed Partners and Metamorphic Ventures also participated in this round. Seed investor Paul Buchheit and Alex Kinnier is joining the MyLikes board of directors. MyLikes aims to connect social influencers with advertising companies to endorse products on social networks. Display ad company Chango is a Toronto based ad targeting company that has raised $4.25 million in a new round of funding led by Rho Canada, Inovia Capital, Metamorphic Ventures, Extreme Venture Partners, and Geoff Judge. Chango has raised a total of $6 million in funding.

Chango is an ad platform company that targets viewers based on their previous search history. Chango was founded by Chris Sukornyk. Chango buys cookie data from data exchanges and toolbar companies.

Sukornyk previously co-foudned the X-Stream Network, an ISP in Europe that was sold to LibertySurf for $75 million. He also founded bubbleshare and sold it to Kaboose. And he founded and sold FiveLimes to Avid Life Media.

David Hirsch, a former Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) executive that was in charge of the company’s B2B vertical markets has started up his own venture capital company called Metamorphic Ventures.  Metamorphic Ventures will be focusing on investments in start-up companies revolving around digital media, mobile device applications, and the financial sector.  Hirsch joined Google in 2000 and left about 7 months ago.  Prior to joining Google, Hirsch was part of Snowball.com.

Hirsch is working with Lewis Gersh in the venture capital business.  Gersh was already running a venture capital company called Gersh Venture Partners.  Gersh is an investor in Fetchback.com and Recognia.com.  Hirsch is an investor in Amie Street.  Below is a video of an interview with Hirsch via InformationWeek:
