Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) has developed a QR code technology of their own and its called Microsoft Tag. Recently Microsoft sent out a press release to claim that they have surpassed 2 billion printed Tags since launching in January 2009. One billion of that number was printed in the last four months. Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) has launched mobile barcode service Microsoft Tag. Over 1 billion Tags have been created according to Microsoft. This enables people to have access to obtain information about products and services that are related to the tag.
