BlackBerry PlayBook Sales Estimated To Be Around 50,000 [ANALYST]

The BlackBerry PlayBook went for sale yesterday. The tablet made by Research In Motion Limited (NASDAQ:RIMM). Android app compatibility is not available as of yet. The price of the device is $500 for the 16GB model, $600 for the 32GB version, or $700 for the 64GB option. RBC Capital Markets’ Mike Abramsky checked with 70 retail stores to create an analysis of how many devices he expected to have been sold.

Apple Hits Over 200,000 iPad Sales Per Week

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has been selling over 200,000 iPads per week. These figures represent a number that is higher than Mac computer sales. The iPhone 3GS is estimated to be selling 246,000 per week. RBC Capital Markets analyst Mike Abramsky also speculates that the next generation iPhone (codenamed: iPhone HD) could sell 23 million units.
