Motorola Expecting To Ship Around 800,000 Xoom Tablets In Q1 2011

Motorola is expecting to ship between 700,000-800,000 Xoom tablets in Q1 2011 according to DigiTimes. Not bad considering that the Xoom is not available for purchase yet. At this rate, Motorola could ship 3 million Xoom tablets by the end of 2011. The same DigiTimes source expects orders to go up as high as one million units in the quarter. The Xoom tablet has a 10.1-inch touch panel with a 1280×800 resolution, HDMI port, USB ports, 5-megapixel camera, NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, and LED flash light. [DigiTimes]
Details About Motorola Xoom Tablet and Droid Bionic

At a CES press conference, Motorola announced the Xoom tablet powered by Android Honeycomb and the Droid Bionic. The Xoom has a dual-core processor, 10.1-inch HD wide-screen display, “floating” multi-finger use interface, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, 720p video playback, 1MB of internal RAM, and it can be upgraded to 4G. The Xoom will be available in Q1 2011. At the same press conference, Motorola announced the Droid Bionic smartphone.
