Move, Inc. (MOVE) is the parent company of Move.com and other real estate and finance websites. Move.com has acquired SocialBios. Socialbios is a social search startup company that allows individuals to to create a single online profile, similar to About.me.

Move Inc., owner of Move.com operates realtor.com and several other real estate web sites. Today it was announced that they have hired Mike J. d’Almada-Remedios to lead as the Chief Technology Officer. Mike’s last position was the Chief Information Officer of eBay Inc and Shopping.com. Mike was also on the board for PayPal and Skype.

Move’s sites receive 9.4 million monthly visitors. Move’s subsidiary, Realtor.com is the official web site for the National Association of Realtors. Move has 1600 employees.
