Nicki Minaj is a popular hip-hop artist that works closely with Lil Wayne, Drake, Birdman, etc. When Li’l Wayne released a mixtape on the Internet, some of the lyrics from Minaj came off as controversial. She said “I’m a Republican voting for Mitt Romney, you lazy b—–s is f—ing up the economy.” The media went nuts over these lyrics and a radio station even asked President Barack Obama about his thoughts.
