Mark Otto and Jacob Thornton are known for developing Twitter Bootstrap. The two are leaving Twitter after working at the company for about 2.5 years, but they are not falling far from the Twitter tree. Otto and Thornton said that they will both continue to keep working on Twitter Bootstrap. Bootstrap has grown beyond them said Otto. Here is what they wrote on Hacker News:

Twitter co-founders Biz Stone and Evan Williams have announced a new project from Obvious. The new company is called Medium.com. Medium has content that is placed in a fluid design similar to Pinterest. The content collections can either be displayed privately similar to a blog or can be collected as contributions from other members. The collections can be sorted by rating and the layout changes dynamically depending on the size of your browser window. Medium is currently in closed beta. Only a small group of users are able to post on Medium, but anybody can sign up through Twitter and rate posts. You can view some of the collections here.
Twitter co-founders Biz Stone and Evan Williams have announced a new project called Lift. Lift is expected to be a new application that will unlock the human potential, whatever that means. This project will be under the company Obvious Corporation, which was founded by Williams several years ago.
