This is the type of camera that you don’t want to leave home without. The Olympus E-620 is an upper entry-level DSLR. Some of the features include image stabilization, 2.7″ tilt and swivel LCD, and Shadow Adjustment Technology. There are also Art Filters, Multiple Exposure mode and 4 aspect ratio choices.

“Experimenting and creating your own unique masterpieces has never been easier or more fun,” stated John Knaur, senior marketing manager of the Digital SLR at Olympus Imaging America Inc. “Pop Art, Grainy Black & White, and Pin Hole are just a few creative options that can be effortlessly found on the camera’s mode dial. The access is easy, and the results are fun and limitless.”

The E-620 has Autofocus in Live View and Phase Detection AF. The camera uses Face Detection, even when the targets are moving. The camera has a 4:3 aspect ratio and can be set to 16:9, 3:2, and 6:6.

Availability will start in May 2009. The estimated street price is about $699.99. With a Zuiko Digital Zoom Lens, the price would be $799.99.
