HP Hosting webOS Event On February 9th, Will We See A PalmPad?
Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) is hosting a webOS event on February 9, 2011 at 10AM according to BoyGeniusReport. Rumor has it that HP will be announcing a tablet with webOS. HP To Release WebOS Tablet In March [REPORT]
According to BMO Capital Markets analyst Keith Bachman, Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) is expected to release a webOS based tablet by March. Bachman had met with about 30 tech companies across Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South Korea recently and had found out the information from there.

Palm’s webOS To Hit HP Printers
Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) acquired Palm Inc. recently. HP planned to use Palm’s proprietary webOS operating system for future devices including web-connected printers. The announcement about the printers was made by HP CEO Mark Hurd. HP also reported profits were up 25% this quarter to about $2.9 billion. Total revenues were $30 billion. [Engadget]
