REPORT: New iPhone Coming In September, 7″ iPad In August
Apple supplier Pegatron has reportedly landed orders for the next-generation iPhone in September. Foxconn is supposedly manufacturing a new 7-inch iPad in August. DigiTimes reported the rumors after citing sources in the Taiwan technology supply chain. The report also claims that a new 10-inch iPad will arrive in the fourth quarter of 2012 and is being manufactured by Pegatron. Apple’s current 9.7-inch iPad received an update this past March with a Retina display and 4G LTE. It is just known as “Apple iPad,” but is often referred to as the iPad 3. The 7″ iPad will supposedly have a screen resolution of 1,024 by 768 pixels.
WSJ: Apple Readying iPhone For Verizon In Early 2011
Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ) is preparing to launch the iPhone on their network in early 2011 according to The Wall Street Journal. One of the reasons I believe it is because The Wall Street Journal has a close-knit relationship with Apple CEO Steve Jobs. Jobs has appeared at the AllThingsD (A Wall Street Journal spin-off blog) conference numerous times. This would finally put an end to the exclusive deal that Apple has with AT&T.

New iPhone Coming This Summer, Perhaps On Verizon This Fall [WSJ]
When The Wall Street Journal publishes an article about Apple, everybody listens. The WSJ just sent out a news alert that says that Apple is working on a new iPhone model that will be released this summer. Apple has consistently released a new iPhone on June or July since the past three models. The new iPhone is rumored to work on the CDMA wireless network, which Verizon uses. Pegatron Technology Corporation is rumored to be mass producing the device.
The iPhone was rumored to be available on the Verizon sometime in the future for years now. Apple had an exclusive relationship with AT&T within the U.S. since they launched the iPhone in 2007.
The Wall Street Journal article was written by Yukari Iwatani Kane. Kane is known for writing articles in the past that were very accurate about future Apple products. This means Kane can be trusted about having a reliable source within the company. [WSJ]
