We already know that the HTC Magic and the Android Hero have been revealed, but recently HTC CEO Peter Chou announced that the company will ship at least three smartphones powered by Google Android this year. HTC was the first company to reveal the Android operating system with the G1 last year.
The HTC Magic, known as the G2 is being sold in Europe through Vodafone. Chou made the announcement at the Merrill Lynch technology conference in Taipei.
This is good news for developers of applications on the Android Market. More phones equals more sales of applications.
