“It’s crazy, it’s just crazy,” stated Chris Clark.“It will make a significant difference in my life, for sure.”

Maryland resident, Chris Clark just made $2.6 million due to his ownership of piping hot domain name, Pizza.com.  Chris Clark owns a software company and registered Pizza.com 14 years ago for $20.  A $2,599,980 return on investment is not bad slice to walk away with.

Chris made Pizza.com into a pizza directory and advertising site when nothing came out of it.  Many of the generic domain names were quickly snapped up in the 1990′s during the tech boom.  Many of the generic names end up selling on Sedo.com where Pizza.com closed its deal.

Interestingly, the site is ranked only about 252K on Alexa.  The name of the buyer is anonymous. 

What will Clark do now that he made $2.5 million?  I doubt that he’ll go to Disney World because when he was just there on March 28th when the first few bids brought the site up to half a million dollars.
