Localytics has raised $16 million in Series C funding

Localytics is a mobile analytics and marketing company that has raised $16 million in Series C funding led by Foundation Capital and existing investor Polaris Partners. Localytics plans to use the funding to grow internationally and to build out their team. Localytics runs the analytics for over 20,000 apps from over 5,000 companies that reaches 1.4 billion user devices.

Egnyte raises $29.5 million

Egnyte
Egnyte is an enterprise file-sharing storage company that has raised $29.5 million in funding from strategic investors CenturyLink and Seagate. Other investors that put money into this round includes Northgate Capital Group, Google Ventures, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and Polaris Partners. This new round of funding will help Egnyte expand into the U.S. and Europe. The company is going to open a new R&D center in Poland.

Existing Investor Tiger Global Puts $75 Million In WordPress Parent Automattic

Formspring Is Shutting Down

Formspring is a question and answer service that will be shutting down.  Formspring wrote in a blog post that their ability to maintain a level of resources needed to keep the company up-and-running is too high now.  Users will be able to post questions on the service until March 31st.  People that want to export their data from the website has until April 15th.

JIBE Raises $10 Million In Series B

JIBE is a mobile job applications startup company that has raised $10 millin in Series B funding led by Longworth Venture Partners.  Existing investors like Polaris Partners, Lerer Ventures, DFJ, DFJ Gotham, and Thrive Capital have joined this round also.  JIBE used to be known as a company called localbacon.
