Automotive equipment supplier Yazaki North America has come up with an insane concept for a dashboard gauge. The gauge is based on the Linux operating system and is fully customizable. The software runs on the OpenGL graphics system which is used on many of your favorite video games too.
The gauge is able to display the weather, the speed, the time, battery life available for the car, the carbon footprint, a compass, etc. The full press release is available after the jump (via Jalopnik):
