Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTWO) has reported today that it has sold over 33 million copies of Grand Theft Auto V since it launched last September. This amounts to an estimated $1.98 billion in retail sales. GTA V was the best selling console game in 2013 in North America, Latin America, and Europe. GTA V was the fastest game to hit $1 billion in sales in video game history.

GTA: San Andreas is now available on the iPhone and iPad

Rockstar has released Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on the Apple App Store. The game is available on both the iPhone and the iPad. GTA: San Andreas has been released on consoles 9 years ago. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for iOS has remastered graphics including more detailed shadows, enhanced characters, and new car models. The game also supports external controllers made by Logitech and Moga.

Grand Theft Auto V named as ‘Game of the Year’ at VGX

At the Spike TV VGX awards event, Grand Theft Auto V has been named as the “Game of the Year.” GTA V is the fifteenth title in the Grand Theft Auto series and generated over $1 billion in the first three days of sales. It was developed over five years at a cost of around $260 million. Other games that were nominated included BioShock Infinite, Super Mario 3D World, The Last of Us, and Tomb Raider.

Rockstar Apologizes To GTA Online Players For Downtime By Giving Them Half A Million In In-Game Cash

Grand Theft Auto V To Hit The Shelves On September 17

Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto V will be officially arriving on September 17, 2013 after a delay.  The game will hit the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but we do not know yet if it will be available on PCs or the Wii U.  The delay was caused because “additional development time” was needed.  This way the game will be polished.  To keep us on our toes, Rockstar has been releasing screenshots and trailers.

WATCH: Grand Theft Auto V Trailers

Rockstar Games has released two trailers so far for the video game Grand Theft Auto V.  The first trailer was released earlier this month and the second trailer arrived yesterday.  The first trailer has over 27 million YouTube views and the second trailer has over 2.5 million YouTube views.  The second trailer was supposed to debut earlier this month, but was delayed when Hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast.  Check out the trailers below:

Rockstar Games Releasing GTA: Vice City On iOS and Android Tomorrow

Rockstar Games will be releasing Grand Theft Auto: Vice City on Android and iOS on October 29th.  The release coincides with the 10 year anniversary of the game.  The game will be on a “a wide range” of iOS and Android devices later this fall and will feature “native high-resolution graphics.”  When the game is ported over, it will have “several enhancements” for the two mobile platforms.  Last year, Rockstar Games announced the 10-year anniversary release of GTA III on mobile devices.Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Rockstar Games Releases Behind The Scenes Clip Of Max Payne 3 [VIDEO]


Rockstar Games has launched a behind-the-scenes video of Max Payne 3, the third-person shooter game that started its series in 2001. Max Payne is well known for using a slow-motion “bullet time” effect. The story of this game is that Max Payne has left New York to work in São Paulo, Brazil in private security. Things go wrong and Max Payne ends up having to fight through the criminal underworld.
