Grand Theft Auto V To Hit The Shelves On September 17

Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto V will be officially arriving on September 17, 2013 after a delay.  The game will hit the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but we do not know yet if it will be available on PCs or the Wii U.  The delay was caused because “additional development time” was needed.  This way the game will be polished.  To keep us on our toes, Rockstar has been releasing screenshots and trailers.

WATCH: Grand Theft Auto V Trailers

Rockstar Games has released two trailers so far for the video game Grand Theft Auto V.  The first trailer was released earlier this month and the second trailer arrived yesterday.  The first trailer has over 27 million YouTube views and the second trailer has over 2.5 million YouTube views.  The second trailer was supposed to debut earlier this month, but was delayed when Hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast.  Check out the trailers below:

Rockstar Games Releasing GTA: Vice City On iOS and Android Tomorrow

Rockstar Games will be releasing Grand Theft Auto: Vice City on Android and iOS on October 29th.  The release coincides with the 10 year anniversary of the game.  The game will be on a “a wide range” of iOS and Android devices later this fall and will feature “native high-resolution graphics.”  When the game is ported over, it will have “several enhancements” for the two mobile platforms.  Last year, Rockstar Games announced the 10-year anniversary release of GTA III on mobile devices.Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Rockstar Games Releases Behind The Scenes Clip Of Max Payne 3 [VIDEO]


Rockstar Games has launched a behind-the-scenes video of Max Payne 3, the third-person shooter game that started its series in 2001. Max Payne is well known for using a slow-motion “bullet time” effect. The story of this game is that Max Payne has left New York to work in São Paulo, Brazil in private security. Things go wrong and Max Payne ends up having to fight through the criminal underworld.

Rockstar Games Releases GTA 3 and GTA: Vice City For Mac App Store


Rockstar Games, the company behind the Grand Theft Auto franchise, has released two of their greatest hit games for the Mac App Store. Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City have been put on the Mac App Store for $14.99 each. The original Grand Theft Auto III was released for the PlayStation 2 back in October 2001 and became available for Windows in May 2002. Then the Xbox got it in November 2003. You must have at least 705MB free to download Grand Theft Auto III and 1.25GB free for Vice City.

If you are a fan of the game Grand Theft Auto IV, then you may like The Trashmaster movie. GTA IV player and movie enthusiast Mathieu Weschler spent about two years making the movie embedded above. The movie is about a garbage man that has another job on the side. I think this movie will make a great watch sometime this weekend. I think someone at Take Two should reach out to Mathieu about hiring him for story lines for future GTA games too.

Michael “Shagg” Washington Suing Rockstar For $250 Million


Michael “Shagg” Washington is a back-up singer for the rap group Cypress Hill. Shagg is suing Take-Two Interactive Software and Rockstar Games for $250 million. He is suing them because he believes that the lead character in the game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is based on his youth.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars Arriving On Apple App Store

Rockstar Games, subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTWO) will be launching Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for the Apple App Store.  This means you can jack cars and join the mafia on the iPhone and iPod Touch very soon.

Chinatown Wars is a perfect match for the iPhone and iPod touch,” stated Rockstar Games founder Sam Houser. “We are very excited to bring this incredibly ambitious version of Liberty City, with this level of detail and immersive gameplay on Apple’s new gaming platforms.”
