The Samsung NC20 is the first major netbook to utilize the VIA Nano platform.  The processor is a 1.3 GHz VIA NAno ULV U2250.  It comes with 1GB of RAM, a 160GB HDD (with option to make it SSD), 1280×800 LCD, 6-cell battery, and about 6.5 hours of operation time.  The announcement about the netbook was made in <a href="http://pulse2.com/2009/02/27/samsung-utilizes-via-nano-platform-with-nc20-netbook/">late February</a>, but now there is an official date for release.</p>
<p>The Samsung NC20 will be available in the U.S. on March 16 and will be sold exclusively through Newegg.com.  The price is not yet known, but the UK equivalent price is $478.</p>
