The company has announced that they have acquired <a href="http://SportsRadioInterviews.com">SportsRadioInterviews.com</a>.  SportsRadioInterviews.com is a streaming sports blog that discusses news, upcoming games, and sporting events from the perspective of a sports radio. SB Nation is a sports and news blog company that is based in Washington D.C.  The company has raised a $10.5 million Series C round led by Khosla Ventures.  SB Nation previously raised $13 million in funding from Accel Partners, Allen &#038; Company, Comcast Interactive Capital, and several angel investors.<br />

In this round of funding Comcast and Accel will also be participating.  This round of funding will put SB Nation&#8217;s post-investment valuation at over $30 million.</p>
<p>SB Nation now has about 21 regional sports websites in their network.  This round of funding will go towards investments in the company&#8217;s technology platform, paying bloggers, integrating mobile content, and advertising sales.</p>

<p>Although it is not known exactly how much SB Nation has raised, <a href="http://www.techcrunch.com/2008/10/29/former-aol-exec-raises-funding-for-sports-blogs-network/">TechCrunch pegs it</a> at around the &#8220;mid-seven-figure sum.&#8221;  The funding was provided by Accel, Allen &amp; Co., and several other angel investors.  The other angel investors include Ted Leonsis (former AOL Vice Chairman and Washington Capitals owner), Brent Jones (former <a href="http://www.stubhub.com/san-francisco-49ers-tickets/">San Francisco 49ers </a>player and MD of Northgate Capital), Dan Rosenweig, Jeff Weiner, and other executives from Providence Equity Partners.</p>
<p>SB Nation is short for SportsBlogs Nation.  About 150 team sites are linked together by local writers within the SB Nation network.  All of these bloggers share in advertising revenue.  SB Nation sites combined receive about 2 million unique visitors per month.</p>
<p>SB Nation is based in Washington D.C.</p>
