New Relic Raises $80 Million

New Relic is an app performance company that has raised $80 million as they look into going public.  Insight Venture Partners led the round of funding.  Other participants in this round of funding include T. Rowe Price, Dragoneer Investment Group LLC, Passport Ventures LLC, Benchmark Capital, Trinity Ventures, Tenaya Capital, and Allen & Company.

Drupal Enterprise Company Acquia Raises $30 Million

Acquia is a company that is known for providing products, services, and technical support to enterprise users of Drupal.  Acquia has raised $30 million in funding led by Investor Growth Capital. Goldman Sachs and Accolade Partners also participated in this round.  Previous investors that joined include North Bridge Venture Partners, Sigma Partners and Tenaya Capital.  Acquia has raised a total of $68.5 million in funding.  Jose Suarez of Investor Growth Capital has joined Acquia’s board of directors after the funding.

Inkling Raises $17 Million for iPad Textbooks

Digital textbook startup Inkling has raised $17 million in funding to grow their company, which works with textbook publishers to create interactive iPad versions of their books. The funding comes from Tenaya Capital, Jafco Ventures, Sequoia Capital and Pearson Education. Inkling is already working with publishers like McGraw Hill and Pearson. [GigaOM]

Social Gaming Company Raptr Raises $15 Million


Raptr is a social gaming company that allows players to track achievements and connect to friends on consoles. Raptr has raised $15 million in a round led by DAG Ventures with participation from Tenaya Capital and Accel Partners. Raptr has raised $27 million in total funding thus far. MyShape Raises $5.5 Million In Funding


MyShape is a women’s fashion website that has raised $5.5 million in funding. Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Tenaya Capital are the two companies behind the funding. The funding will go towards increasing their operations team. MyShape sells bags, luggage, lingerie, shirts, golf apparel, plus size clothing, sleepwear, intimates, etc. [SoCalTech]

Eventbrite Raises $20 Million In Series D


Eventbrite is an online tickets website that has raised $20 million in Series D funding led by DAG Ventures. Tenaya Capital and Sequoia Capital also participated in this round of funding. Eventbrite is a 4 year old start-up based in San Francisco and raised a total of $29.5 million.
