Many of them poured out their support in the form of donations. The families of the victims will split the majority of the $5 million in donations raised to assist the victims of the attack.

The shooting rampage took place during a screen of the movie “The Dark Knight Rises.” As of yesterday, 14 counts of attempted murder have been added by the prosectors to his charge. Prosecutors amended 5 other counts that have already been brought against him according to USA Today.

Between that incident and the Sikh temple shooting, our citizens are getting really paranoid. Within one week of each other, two people have been arrested for carrying guns to “The Dark Knight Rises.” It does not sound like they were going to cause a massacre, but they simply wanted to bring it to the theater just in case some self-defense action would be needed.
Dr. Lynne Fenton, the psychiatrist known for treating Colorado movie theater “The Dark Knight Rises” gunman James Holmes, was concerned by his behavior and notified her colleagues. She said that Holmes could be a danger to others according to KMGH. Fenton’s concerns had been surfaced in early June, which was about 6 weeks before the shooting in Aurora, Colorado took place. In the massacre, 12 people were killed and 58 were wounded. Holmes was charged with 24 counts for murder and 116 counts of attempted murder.
