Bryan Goldberg
Bryan Goldberg is on fire.  He sold sports media company Bleacher Report to Turner Media last year for over $200 million.  Now he is starting a new company called Bustle.  Bustle has raised $6.5 million in seed and Series A funding.  Investors that participated in this round include Social + Capital Partnership, Time Warner Investments, Google Ventures, 500 Startups, Rothenberg Ventures, and several angel investors.

Twitter has acquired Bluefin, a TV analytics company.  This acquisition is believed to be Twitter’s large acquisition to date.  Twitter definitely spent over $40 million on the acquisition since that is what they spent on TweetDeck two years ago.

Adaptly has raised $10.5 million in Series B funding. Adaptly is a company that manages Facebook ad campaigns, a $3 billion ad business. Adaptly helps marketers buy ads on other social platforms like Twitter and StumbleUpon. This round of funding was led by Valhalla Partners. Other participating investors include Time Warner Investments and Vivi Nevo. Adaptly previously raised $2.7 million.
