Pop artist Ke$ha has launched a Tumblr blog called Put Your Beard In My Mouth. The Tumblr blog is filled with photos of her with beards in her mouth. This website was not actually made by a Ke$ha fan — it is run by her. [Jezebel]

The Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) was introduced to the U.S. House of Representatives on October 26, 2011 by Representative Lamar Smith [R-TX] and 12 initial co-sponsors. This bill is intended to help U.S. law enforcement and copyright holders fight online piracy of intellectual property.

President Barack Obama is campaigning for the 2012 election to serve another four years. Obama’s campaign team has joined Tumblr to tell stories, share jokes, etc. “There will be trolls among you: this we know. Tumblr is a popular blogging service that has raised $85 million in a new round of funding. Tumblr is best known for simple blogging tools to post photos, videos, songs, etc. The investment in this round was led by Greylock Partners. Insight Venture Partners, the Chernin Group, Richard Branson, Spark Capital, Union Square Ventures, and Sequoia Capital also participated in this round.

Today is a big day for Klout. The social influence calculator just added five new networks to its algorithms, bringing their measurement possibilities to 10 total networks. Adding Tumblr, Blogger, Flickr, Last.fm and Instagram to the already-included Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Foursquare and YouTube means that some Klout users are about to see a huge jump in their scores. The staff blog reminds users that “connecting an account will never lower your Score, but it may increase it as we can give you credit for your influence in that network.” TechCrunch notes that Google+ is still missing from the list but that it should be on its way soon.

Even though the riots in London are a serious issue, sometimes you cannot help but add some humor into serious issues. Photoshop definitely helps with that process. This is a huge win for The Oatmeal founder Matthew Inman. Tumblr has agreed to use an image created by Matthew Inman, the founder of TheOatmeal.com. This image is the equivalent of Twitter’s “fail whale,” or an image that appears when the website is down.

Tumblr, the blog platform based in New York City, that is known to be used by hipsters has raised $30 million in Series D funding. Tumblr now has more in funding than one of their biggest rivals, Automattic, the parent company of open source blog platform WordPress. Tumblr’s $30 million Series D funding was invested by Spark Capital, Union Square Ventures, and Sequoia Capital: Sequoia put in $20 million, Union Square put in $5 million, and Spark Capital put in $5 million.
