David Fincher in talks to work on Steve Jobs film

David Fincher may be teaming up with Aaron Sorkin again to work on the a film about Steve Jobs. Fincher previously worked with Sorkin on The Social Network, which is a film about Facebook that was nominated for eight Oscars and won three. Right now the talks are “early.” The film is based on the biography that was written by Walter Isaacson from 2011. Fincher is also well known for working as the executive producer of House of Cards.

A Paperback Version Of The Steve Jobs Bio By Walter Isaacson Is Coming This Fall

Simon & Schuster is going to be releasing a paperback version of the Steve Jobs biography by Walter Isaacson on September 10th.  Isaacson was made the only authorized biographer of Steve Jobs.  The new paperback book will have a cover image that features Jobs when he was younger.  The new book will have a new afterword.

Walter Isaacson: Steve Jobs Biography Could Be Expanded In A Special Edition

Walter Isaacson was at an event hosted by the Commonwealth Cub of California and he shared some additional information about the Steve Jobs biography. The 630-page biography may be expanded in a special edition. It may be in the form of an extensively annotated version or putting in an addendum that addresses the period during Steve Jobs’ death.

Jeff Robbin Believed To Be Spearheading The Rumored Apple HDTV Initiative

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) vice president of consumer applications Jeff Robbin is best known for developing iTunes and helped create the iPod. According to sources with Bloomberg, Robbin will now be spearheading the development of an Apple television set. Before Apple co-founder Steve Jobs passed away, he told his biographer Walter Isaacson that he had “finally cracked” how to build an integrated TV set with a simple user interface that could wirelessly synchronize content with Apple’s other devices.

Jobs gave up religion because he was troubled by children that were starving and he called executives that took over Apple as corrupt.
