Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) and ooVoo Mobile have launched video chat Android applications. ooVoo Mobile lets up to 6 people talk simultaneously through a 3G, 4G, or WiFi bit rate and it works only with the HTC Evo or the Samsung Epic. Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) vice president David Katz announced that they will soon be offering video chat on the Yahoo! Messenger mobile application. Video chat will be available on the Yahoo! Messenger iPhone and Android application and it will work over WiFi and 3G. This is great news for anyone that prefers to have more options than FaceTime for video conferencing on the iPhone. Yahoo! Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) has launched a Yahoo! Mail and Yahoo! Messenger app for the Android Market. Yahoo! also launched HTML5 mobile websites for the iPhone and a Yahoo! Search Widget for Android. The new Android app features include push notifications for new e-mails, Yahoo! Address Book integration, e-mail search, photo uploads as attachments from the camera, emoticons and rich text formatting. There is also easy toggling between Mail and Messenger.
