A camera has just been sold for $758,489 at an auction. This is no ordinary camera though. This camera went to the moon and back during the 1971 Apollo 15 mission. The Hasselblad 500 sold over this past weekend. Other cameras were left behind to make room for mineral samples during the Apollo 15 mission. The new owner of the camera is Japanese businessman Terukazu Fujisawa. He made his winning bid of 550,000 euros by phone. The bidding started on Saturday at 80,000 euros, which is slightly over $110,000.
