About 57% Android Apps Are Free [REPORT]

According to a report by application analytics company Distimo, about 57% of all Google Android applications are free. Whereas 28% of iPhone applications are free.
Distimo also found that over half of all mobile apps across the Android Market, AppleApp Store, Nokia Ovi Store, and Palm App Catalog is priced under $2. BlackBerry App World is not part of this list because apps are not allowed to be priced under $2.99, unless it is free. Below are a couple of analysis charts from Distimo:
