Acer has announced a couple of new desktops called the Veriton Z290G and the Veriton Z410G. The Z290G is 18.5″ and the Z410G is 21.5″. Both computers have Windows 7 Professional, a multi-in-one card reader, 320GB hard drive, 2GB DDR3 SDRAM, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Ethernet port, headphone/microphone jacks, mouse, and a PS/2 keyboard.
The Z290G has an Intel D525 ultra-low-voltage processor. The Z290G has four USB 2.0 ports.
The Z410G has a 21.5″ HD LCD monitor with full HD 1080p resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, and 5 ms response time. The Z410G has an Intel Pentium E5700 dual-core processor and the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500. The Z410G has eight USB 2.0 ports, eSATA, VGA, and DVI.
The Z290G will cost $599 and the Z410G costs $719. Both will be available later this month.
