Acer Launches Aspire 4253, 5253, 5750, 5750G, 7750G, AG3600, One 522, Predator AG3600-U4082, and AS8950G

Acer has launched several new laptops, desktops, and tablets at CES. Here is a break down of the specifications of the Aspire 4253, 5253, 5750, AG3600, 5750, 5750G, 7750G, Aspire One 522, Predator AG3600-U4082, beTouch E210, and AS8950G.

The Aspire 5253 has a 15.6-inch laptop that starts under $500. It has a dual-core chip that is intended for netbook chips. The 5253 has the AMD Vision platform with integrated Radeon HD 6310 graphics. The 5253 has a 320GB hard drive, 4GB of RAM, Windows 7 Home Premium, 1.3-megapixel webcam, and HDMI video output. The Acer Aspire 5750, Acer 5750G, and Acer Aspire 7750G uses the quad-core i7-2630QM. The 7750G has 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and 750GB hard drive. The 5750 models have 4 or 6GB of RAM, up to 640GB of HDD space, and NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M GPU. The 5750 has integrated HD graphics, not the NVIDIA GeForce. The Aspire 7750G uses AMD for its GPU and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6550 or 6650 graphics cards. The 5750 and 5750G both have 17-inch 1,360×768 resolution screens. The Acer Aspire Predator AG3600-U4082 costs $899 and it has an Intel Sandy Bridge Core i5 2300 quad core chip. Built in to the desktop is an NVIDIA GeForce GT 420 graphics cards. The budget AG3600 has a 1.5TB hard drive and a mini HDMI output. [CNET]

Acer has announced three new laptops that run on the Fusion APU. The Aspire One 522 has a 10.1-inch screen with WXGA resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, C-50 APU, AMD Radeon HD 6250 graphics, WiFi, LAN, Bluetooth, 3G connection and 1080p video with HDMI output. The Aspire One 522 comes in green or black. No word on the price or availability yet.

The other two laptops are the Acer Aspire 15.6-inch 5253 and 14-inch 4253. These two laptops have the AMD E-Series accelerated processing unit, and it uses the Vision engine. The Aspire 5253 can hit up to 8GB of DDR3 SDRAM. Both of these laptops have WiFi built in. No pricing or availability information yet.

The Acer Aspire AS8950G has an 18.4-inch screen with 1920×1080 resolution, Core i7-2630QM processor, ATI Mobility Radeon 6850 graphics processor, 8GB of DDR RAM, and 750GB hard drive. There is a Blu-ray drive and FireWire port built in. The sound system built into this laptop is an Acer CineSurround with five built-in speakers and a dedicated subwoofer.
