Alloy Digital Acquires YouTube News Company Clevver Media

Alloy Digital is distributor of video content for the 12-34 year old demographic. Alloy Digital has acquired Clevver Media, a brand known for delivering the news on YouTube. Alloy Digital’s owned and operated channels are now number in total YouTube subscribers with over 8 million subscribers. Clevver Media has seven entertainment and celebrity news channels including ClevverTV, ClevverMovies, ClevverMusic, ClevverGames, ClevverNews, ClevverStyle and Spanish language ClevverTeve.

ClevverTV is the most popular and has over 460,000 subscribers with nearly 1 billion cumulative video views. They focus on celebrities interviews and red carpet coverage. It is ranked as a top 20 YouTube partner channel. The acquisition was rumored to be for between $5 and $10 million.
