Amazon (AMZN) To Hire 5,000 Fulfillment Center Staff Members In The U.S.

Amazon.com
will be expanding their staff in the United States.  The company will be hiring 5,000 staff members to “meet growing customer demand.”  Amazon.com’s fulfillment centers currently have around 25,000 employees that manages operations, inventory, customer delivery, and engineering.

The new employees will work on picking, packing, and shipping across Amazon.com’s distribution and fulfillment centers.  Amazon.com will also be hiring 2,000 full-time and part-time customer service representatives.

?We?re hiring more than 5,000 people to join our team and help us continue to innovate and serve our customers,? stated Amazon.com VP of worldwide operations and customer service Dave Clark.

Amazon tripled their employee count over the last three years.
