Amazon has announced an all new Kindle Fire with a Paperwhite display and a lower price. Amazon.com CEO Jeff Bezos said that the new Kindle Fire tablet will have a 7-inch display, 40% faster processor, twice as fast RAM, and longer battery life than the original Kindle Fire.
The new Kindle Fire has updated software features like X-Ray for Movies, X-Ray for Books, Immersion Reading, Whispersync for Voice, and Kindle FreeTime. Amazon will also offer Special Offers on the lock screen of the Kindle Fire. The ads will be from companies like AT&T, Intel, and Discover.
Amazon has dropped the price of the new Kindle Fire by $40. Now you can buy a new Kindle Fire for $159. It starts shipping on September 14th. Pre-orders start today.
