Posted Mar 19, 2014, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) subsidiary Quidsi has launched a new service called is an online grocery store that caters to people that suffers from food allergy. Quidsi is expanding beyond green products and healthy foods to become a top shopping destination for around 15 million Americans that suffer from food allergies or restricted diets, according to TechCrunch.

Vinemarket launched in 2012 and sold products like vitamins and household cleaners that did not include harsher chemicals that are found in traditional products. Vinemarket has been revamped to allow shoppers to find allergen-free products. It also sells peanut-free, dairy-free, tree nut-free, soy-free, and gluten-free options. There are sections that focus on people with special diets like kosher, vegan, or organic. VineMarket’s inventory will include specific Banned Ingredients, such as high fructose corn syrups, bleached flour, bromated flour, artificial fats, trans fats, artificial colors and flavors, artificial sweeteners, preservatives, along with more than 20 chemicals.
