Amazon.com has signed a deal with Miramax so that hundreds of titles will be made available for subscribers of Amazon Prime Instant Video. This deal is not exclusive to Amazon.com. The financial terms of the deal was undisclosed.
Two years ago, Miramax struck a multiyear deal with streaming subscription service Netflix. Some of the movies that will be added to Amazon.com Prime includes Pulp Fiction, Good Will Hunting, Life Is Beautiful, and Kill Bill. Last year, Amazon.com subsidiary LoveFilm signed a deal with Miramax to cover the U.K. and Germany.
Amazon.com now offers over 41,000 movies and TV shows to their Prime members. Amazon Prime costs $79 per year. The videos are available across multiple devices, including the Kindle Fire.
