Launches A Free SDK Plugin For Eclipse To Develop Kindle Fire and Android Apps

Posted Jan 21, 2013 announced that they have built a new tool for Android developers to integrate their Amazon APIs into their projects.  The tool is called the Amazon Mobile App SDK Eclipse Plugin.  This tool is currently in beta and is free for developers to distribute apps on Amazon.  Eclipse is a cross-platform development software that is used for building Java-based programs like Android apps.  You can install the SDK plugin by reading the setup instructions.  Amazon said that this will help speed up development and cut down on project setup time.  The plugin generates config entries for the APIs that you select and copies the relevant API jar files.  The plugin can also under API integration without affect the way that your original Eclipse project is setup.  You can read more about the SDK plugin here.
