Amazon.com has plans to expand into Brazil for the first time according to Reuters, but not for the full retail experience. Amazon will sell Kindle e-book readers and will sell a library of 10,000 e-books for the devices there. To enter Brazil, Amazon has to deal with “logistic and tax difficulties” there. They eventually will expand fully into Brazil. Amazon expects to be in the Brazil market by October and potentially sell the Kindle for a price that is higher than what they sell in the U.S.
