Anaqua Raises $100 Million To Store Your I.P. In The Cloud

is a Boston, Massachusetts based company that lets you store intellectual property assets in the cloud.  This may include tax documents, confidential documents, trademarks, etc.


Anaqua has raised $100 million in funding from private equity company Insight Venture Partners.  The funding terms was not disclosed, but sources with AllThingsD reports that the investment was $100 million.

Previous investors also participated in this round.  Insight Venture Partners managing director Jeff Horing and Alex Crisses are joining the Anaqua board of directors.

Some of Anaqua’s customers include Coca-Cola, Kimberly-Clark, Microsoft, and large I.P. litigation firms.  Anaqua said that their platform is used to manage $500 billion worth of intellectual property.
