Google has recently revealed Android KitKat (version 4.4).  The Google Nexus 5 will be the first device that runs on KitKat.  KitKat has several new awesome features.  You can say “Ok Google” while on the home screen or Google Now to launch apps, music, text messages, etc.

The music album art is full-screen when playing music and the controls are built-in to go pause/play and go back/forward.

KitKat has faster multitasking, contact prioritization, caller ID (works with finding business numbers for local listings on Google Maps, message consolidation, emoji built into the Google Keyboard, Google Cloud Print support, and deeper integration of Quickoffice.

KitKat will also be available in a few weeks as an update to the Google Nexus 4, 7, and 10.
