AngelList Raising Large Funding Round At A $150M Valuation

AngelList is a social network that connects startups with investors.  The company is rumored to be working on a round that would value them at $150 million.  Investors in this round are believed to be Google Ventures and Andreessen Horowitz.  This will be the company’s first outside financing according to TechCrunch.  AngelList was founded by Naval Ravikant and Babak Nivi.

AngelList works as a social network and a crowd-sourcing platform.  AngelList currently has over 100,000 startup profiles.  Around 40 startups on AngelList have been acquired and 1,000 startups have been funded through the platform since 2010.  AngelList
