AOL Inc. has announced that Bob Lord has joined the company as the CEO of AOL Networks, effective on August 1st. Prior to joining AOL, Lord was the Global CEO of Razorfish and was the CEO of Publicis Groupe?s Digital Technologies Division. Lord will be overseeing AOL’s flagship technology stack, which services over 22,000 publishers and 4,000 advertisers. Lord will work in New York City and report to AOL chairman and chief executive officer Tim Cook.

While working at Razorfish, Lord was able to observe the competitive advantage of the AOL Network technology. Lord worked at Razorfish since 2000 prior to Publicis? acquisition in 2009.
