Earlier this month, the developer behind “Flappy Bird,” took down the game because it was too “addictive.” However, the game was generating around $50,000 per day in advertising revenue at its peak.
Many people copied the idea behind the game and started to recreate it, but now Apple and Google are actively rejecting other games that have the word “Flappy” in them. Let this be a warning to developers that want to get in on the “Flappy” craze. It’s not worth pursuing as of right now.
