Today at WWDC, Apple announced a new service that is like Dropbox called iCloud Drive. This service lets you store your documents in the cloud. Each of the apps that you use with iCloud Drive will get its own folder inside of the service. These documents can be accessed through Finder. The files are synced across OS X, iOS, and Windows regardless of whether you use iCloud on your Mac or not.
iCloud Drive will have a Finder-like search to search for random files and easily move files between devices. You can also pick files for importing into different apps. Any developer can add the iCloud Document Picker to their apps. Apple will be providing 20GB of storage for $0.99 per month and 200GB for $3.99 per month. 5GB will be free with an iCloud account.
