Apple Blacks Out Vacation For Retail Employees For 3 Weeks Later This Month

Posted Jan 6, 2011

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) announced a three week blackout period for 3 weeks for retail employees, indicating that Apple is going to have a huge sales month. AppleInsider speculates that we will see some significant product introduction coming up in the next few weeks. The blackout period will be between the last week of January and the first couple weeks of February.

Apple is also retaining the overstaffed holiday personnel at a lot of their stores. Some of the products that people believe will be coming soon is a CDMA iPhone, a new iPad, and a refresh of MacBook Pros with the Intel Sandy Bridge processor.
