Apple Confesses MacBook Pro 7200 RPM Noise Issues, Working On A Remedy

Posted Aug 12, 2009

Apple Inc. has confessed that MacBook Pro owners will notice noise pollution on 500GB / 7200 RPM hard drives.  The cause behind the noise pollution is based on code that somehow causes the laptop’s drive to sleep during use.  There is no word yet on when Apple will release a patch. “We are aware of the issue and are working on a software update,” stated Apple spokesman Bill Evans.
