Apple is rumored to be working on a new MacBook Air that is expected to enter production as soon as Q3 2014, according to DigiTimes. These rumors are in line with what analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said in the past.
Kuo’s predicted that Apple will have new 12-inch MacBooks towards the end of Q3 2014. Kuo’s predictions have been fairly accurate in the past. DigiTimes claims that the external design of the MacBook Air will remain the same as its predecessors.
It will have a unibody aluminum chassis and there will be several changes under the hood, including the battery and internal component layout. It will also have Retina Display.
New MacBook Airs come in 11-inch and 13-inch options so a 12-inch model will be a nice option in between.
