Apple Inc. (AAPL) believed to have sold around 25 million iPads last quarter

This Monday, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) will be reporting their fiscal quarter earnings when the markets close. Financial analysts have already started to guess what the unit sales, expected revenues, and net profits are.

The number of iPhones sold is pegged to be at over 55.3 million. Now analysts are predicting that around 25 million iPads sold. Fortune collected the estimates from 45 Apple analysts, 28 professionals, and 17 amateurs.

The estimates are harder to predict because this quarter because the iPad Air hit the market in almost the middle of the quarter. And the supplies for the iPad mini with Retina Display were tight during the holiday shopping season. The amateur analysts believe that the unit sales jumped around 16% year-over-year.
