Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) CEO Tim Cook visited the new company campus in Austin, Texas on Thursday at its opening celebration. Cook reiterated product announcements that were made at WWDC earlier this week. Cook also said that “exciting” new products are on the way.

Cook talked about new hires and said that retail head Angela Ahrendts was the best person for the job. Apple SVP of Internet Software and Services Eddy Cue also attended the event.

The Texas-based campus looks similar in style to the company headquarters in Cupertino, California. So far, part of the first phase of construction has been completed. The first phase should be completed by the end of 2015. The whole project should be completed by 2021.
