Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has just lost a trademark case in New Zealand. Fortunately, this case will not really affect Apple’s sales. The case was in regards to a small product called the ?driPhone.? Apple objected to the driPhone trademark because they believed it was too close to their own trademark. It is a major victory for trademark owner Hayden Crowther.┬áThe driPhone is waterproof phone case that Crowther put together. Not only did the court throw out the case, but they also ordered the company to pay Crowther’s court cases.
