Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) head of North America sales Zane Rowe is stepping down from the company for unknown reasons. Rowe has been at Apple for only two years after working as EVP and CFO at United Continental. Rowe worked at Continental for 19 years, which merged with United. Rowe worked on Apple’s enterprise and educational sales initiatives. Rowe was responsible for sales to retail outlets and cell phone carriers.
Apple’s head of sales for Japan and Korea Doug Beck will replace Rowe. Beck will be adding North America to his current responsibilities.
“Doug Beck has done a great job helping to grow Apple’s business in Japan and Korea. His role is expanding to include North America sales as well,” stated Apple spokesperson Kristin Huguet.
