Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is going to work on full 4K display support in Mavericks, according to 9to5Mac. Apple is testing 4K support in Apple OS X Mavericks beta 10.9.3. In the beta version of the operating system, users are given the ability to test out the OS in native 4K resolution on 4K/Ultra HD monitors attached to their Mac computers. Of course, 4K support is being called “Retina” in Mavericks. Apparently the resolution looks the same as Retina displays running on the MacBook Pro released in late 2013.
